I'm CTO and management board member at HappyNurse. Over the past 15 years I built and led technology teams in banking, healthcare and consulting. Here I write about what happens when AI no longer sits next to the work, but becomes part of it.

From idea to operations
I find new technology interesting. But only really once it becomes part of how an organisation works.
At HappyNurse I am responsible for technology, data, AI and information security. We built our own digital platform, brought AI into the recruitment process and increasingly organised our technology function around products and platforms instead of separate projects.
That also means the less exciting side of innovation: architecture, security, vendors, teams, budgets, governance and making sure it simply works on Monday.

Alongside my work I research what AI does to organisations and work. Not from the belief that AI will take over everything, but because reality is a lot more interesting than that.
I combine public data, research and experiments with what I see happening in organisations myself.
